These High-Performing Topics Should Be on Your January Calendar

The beginning of a new year is an exciting time filled with new goals and plans for the coming months. For small business owners and content creators, these goals are often tied to business objectives and increasing brand awareness. Content creation is an excellent way to continue building brand authority with Google. Here is a list of January seasonal topics to write about that we see perform, based on traffic data across our owned and operated properties (SheKnows, StyleCaster), as well as published data from Google Trends and Pinterest Insights.

We see our SHE Media partners really begin to gain traction with traffic when they are publishing 3-5 high-quality blog posts each week. With what we know about January RPM trends, it’s also an ideal time to publish more content than you typically would.

And one last tip: Don’t forget to look at your top performers from last January. Instead of publishing a brand new piece of content on the same angle, update last year’s instead. Improve user experience with fresh images, new links, new products, fresh content, and then update the date to this year. You can read more about maintaining blogs posts here.
